Studio Visit

Last Friday,
Pam Farrell organized a group studio visit at her place in Flemington, NJ. She invited us for lunch and to look at her work and share something of our own. Artists included David Foss, Tim McFarlane, Rob Solomon, all from the Philadelphia area and Ravenna Taylor along with myself from NJ.

I was so busy looking at Pam's garden, collection of art, antiques and eating BLT'S on homemade bread that I didn't take any pictures of her house. Too bad because it is a great place.
But I did snap a few in the studio.

Pam's studio is in the back of her house. She is busy getting ready for a show at Morpeth Gallery scheduled for the spring. Here you see an oil painting that she is working on at the moment.

A painting that Pam just finished:

Ravenna, Rob, and Dave checking out Pam's works on paper.

Pam, Dave, Rob, Ravenna and I looking at my series of ink and wax on paper. I am thinking about including these in my January show at The Rosenfeld Gallery in Philadelphia.

Tim and Dave discussing Dave's mixed media works on paper. Dave has a show coming up at the LG Tripp Gallery in Philadelphia this September.

Ravenna and Tim looking at one of Tim's new paintings. He is represented by the
Bridgette Mayer Gallery, Philadelphia.

Rob Solomon and Ravenna Taylor didn't bring work for this visit but here are some images from them:

Thanks, Pam. A great time was had by all. I am looking forward to next month's visit at Tim McFarlane's studio.

Lisa, thanks for this post. I have been following Pam and her work over the last year, and getting this personal glimpse into her studio with friends is great.

Thanks for sharing.
